Sebastian Conran, the renowned product designer, gave the inaugural MaDE Lecture at the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining in central London.
Entitled ‘Form Follows Fabrication’, this fascinating lecture covered materials and manufacturing technologies old and new, design philosophy, the art of business, and new challenges for designers – all studded with examples from Sebastian’s prolific studio’s work and key historic design projects.
